Delete your Orbit account

Orbit accounts for sales representatives and drivers are created and managed by the company that uses Orbit (your employer, the "Customer"). The Orbit app has no sign-up of its own. You can have your account deleted in either of these ways:

1. Ask your employer's Orbit administrator to remove you from Orbit.
2. Email us at admin@orbitsa.co.za from the email address you sign in with, using the subject "Delete my Orbit account".

What happens next

• We confirm receipt within 5 business days and disable sign-in once we have verified the request.
• Within 30 days we delete or anonymise your account details, location history, device status data and crash reports.
• Signing out of the app removes the copies the app keeps on the phone.

What is kept

Records your employer must keep by law stay with your employer, for example tax invoices and vehicle logbooks, which South African tax law requires to be kept for five years. Work you did for your employer in Orbit (such as field reports and quotes) belongs to your employer and is kept or deleted under its agreement with Orbit.
